The University of Toronto and National University of Singapore have developed a Joint Minor Programme in Environmental Biology. This program leverages the internationally recognized leadership of the University of Toronto in the Environmental Sciences and NUS's expertise in tropical biodiversity studies. This minor is offered by the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology (UofT) and the Department of Biological Sciences (NUS) and each year only 10 NUS students will be selected for this program.
Successful participants will graduate with the grades of the joint minor modules recorded on the transcripts from the University of Toronto and the National University of Singapore. NUS students will spend one semester (Aug-Dec) in Toronto, where they will take one 8MC and three 4MC courses to fulfill the requirements for the Environmental Biology minor. They may also take additional modules that can be counted towards their NUS degree requirements.
Financial arrangement
NUS students pay their usual tuition fees to NUS only during their stay in Toronto. They will be responsible for their living expenses, including accommodation, airfare and other transportation costs. The available financial aid packages are similar to those for SEP students.
