Welcome to Reef Ecology Lab

Prof. Chou Loke Ming (Principal Investigator), started the Herpetology Laboratory when he joined the University in 1977. As his research interested shifted to coral reefs, the laboratory was renamed the Reef Ecology Laboratory in 1986. It morphed into the Marine Biology Lab in 2003 but re-established itself in 2012. It will be phased out before the end of 2014 when he leaves the Department.
