Kent Ridge walk and Biodiversity
Conducted by : Dr Amy Choong and Dr Ng Ngan Kee
Availability: 26-29 May 2020 and 1-5 June 2020
Kent Ridge is part of the southern ridges of Singapore and an integral geographical feature of the NUS Kent Ridge campus. It may appear to be an anonymous landscape of green and brown. However, after an intimate introduction to the flora here, students will learn many species of plants and perhaps, a few animals. Students will encounter these species elsewhere in Singapore. In addition, the students will be introduced to the underlying ecological mechanisms that support this ecosystem, through clues in the morphology of the plants.
