NUS Safety and Health Commitment Awards 2020

Department of Biological Sciences (DBS) received the 2020 NUS Safety & Health Commitment Awards from the Office of Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE), NUS

The NUS Safety & Health Awards 2020 is a programme to recognise NUS Faculties, Departments, and Research Centres / Research Institutes that have implemented an effective Department Safety and Health Management System (DSHMS) that would help reduce accidents and incidents in workplaces.

It also encourages and rewards departments that have implemented or maintained sound DSHMS to:

• self-regulate safety & health (S&H)

• build positive safety & health (S&H) culture

• promote sharing of knowledge, experience, and best practices
