VISITOR – University of Dundee

Prof. Iain Gillespie, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dundee (UoD), led a delegation to ASEAN for 7 days in early March 2024, specifically visiting the National University of Singapore (NUS) on 4 March 2024. The delegation engaged with UoD’s partners and alumni, met relevant Education ministers, and explored opportunities for research collaborations. Prof. Gillespie was accompanied by Prof. Kim Dale, Assistant Vice Principal International and Associate Dean in the School of Life Sciences, and Dr. Graham R. Christie, University Academic Regional Lead (Southeast Asia) and Senior Lecturer in the School of Life Sciences.

Joint Degree Programme – NUS BSc (Honours) in Life Sciences with the University of Dundee

Established in AY2017/2018, the Joint Degree Programme (JDP) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) offers a unique collaboration with the University of Dundee (UoD), presenting the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Life Sciences [BSc (Hons)]. This comprehensive program spans four years and operates jointly between NUS and UoD. It capitalizes on the combined strengths of both institutions’ undergraduate curricula, incorporating international experiences into the academic journey. Upon completion, students receive a jointly validated BSc (Hons) degree, symbolizing the partnership and excellence of both universities.
