NUS Biological Sciences Researchers Recognised in Elsevier-Stanford Top 2% Scientists Database

The Department of Biological Sciences is proud to feature our researchers who have been recognised in the latest Elsevier-Stanford University Top 2% Scientists database.

This internationally recognized registry identifies the world’s leading scholars using a rigorous composite citation indicator (c-score) that measures true research impact and influence rather than mere publication volume. By ranking in the top 2% of their respective scientific sub-fields or among the top 100,000 most-cited researchers globally, our faculty members have demonstrated sustained, transformative impact on their disciplines. Their inclusion in this benchmark database—based on the August 2026 Scopus snapshot—highlights our ongoing commitment to pioneering research and academic excellence.

The database provides two distinct evaluations: career-long impact and single-year impact (recognizing citations received during the most recent calendar year). Here is the single-year impact list, which recognises researchers who achieved an exceptionally high level of citation impact during the most recent calendar year (2025).

We warmly congratulate the following researchers on this outstanding international recognition.
