CBIS-Abberior STEDYCON workshop 2026

We are pleased to announce an upcoming STEDYCON Super-Resolution Imaging Workshop, jointly organised by CBIS Light Microscopy (LM) Core and Abberior Instruments, 29 July- 3 Aug. 2026, in Department of Biological Sciences, NUS.

The STEDYCON nanoscope delivers outstanding STED super-resolution capability, achieving spatial resolution of approximately 40–50 nm — well beyond the diffraction limit of conventional fluorescence microscopy. This is an excellent opportunity to explore what nanoscale imaging can do for your research.

30 July, PM:
Talk by Lead Application Scientist (APAC) Abberior Instruments on sample preparation for STED imaging
System demonstration/sample test

31 July and 3 August, AM and PM:
Hands-on sample testing (open for registration): trouble shooting and optimization of sample preparation protocol and imaging conditions

Free Reagents: STED-compatible dyes and mounting media are available from CBIS Core staff at no cost — please reach out to us to arrange collection before your session.
